I am joining Fleet Management Limited as a 5th engineer. What do I do for the six months that I will be onshore?
I need information on a merchant navy engineer's life on shore.

Hi,
It depends on how you look at the field. Captain has more responsibility and power and is better paid but Marine engineer has better opportunities in land if they find sea life boring.
