i am Kalappa studying in first year B.E SHALL I KNOW the better time to prepare for GATE exam
sir, i want to prepare for gate seriously so i want to know the correct time to start my preparationand also please mention some good books for my preparation.

After sixth sem.First preaper for BE exam.

You are in First Year , all your Departmental subjects are yet to be started which would mostly in your IInd and IIIrd Year of Engineering. You should try Scoring well in all your Semesters and Start Preparing for GATE in your final Year .
