    Dear Kavya, with due respect to Mr. Choudhary, I do not agree with his opinion. In fact, free hand sketching and drawing is an integral part of fashion designing, otherwise, how will you explain the design to your tailor, Jwellery maker, accessory maker etc. You will also require to show sketches of your design to your customer, export house and boutique owners.

    To join the creative field of fashion, the minimum eligibility is 10+2 with 50%. In the prominent institutes, admission is strictly on merit- through written test, situation test, group discussion and interview. You may contact the institute personally for specific criteria details.
