Please write about the college and course name for better response. However you may availed the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) facility of JEE Main if interested in admission in engineering courses in India. DASA is a scheme of Ministry of Education, Government of India For Admissions to

Your son does not required to give JEE Main exam if applying through DASA. However DASA is applicable for NITs, IIITs only not for IiTs.
