I am looking for NIT or IIT for M.Tech. My GATE score is 345 and I belong to SC category. What should I do?

My department is civil and scored 21196 rank.

    Placement wise, if you go for new NIT or IIT (new), there is very less scope. I think you take a 1 year break and improve your rank. Then, you can get easily any old IIT.
