Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provide an stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. as far as these colleges are concern,both are good but i would prefer Lovely Professional University.
LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC recognized and a renowned University and is considered as one among top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with latest facilities.
Before searching for any University, You should compare universities on various parameters like academics, Industrial exposure, placements, infrastructure, On-Campus Facilities & Amenities, Student Activities etc. So, choose the program and the University to join very wisely.
LPU has AA+ Infrastructure including shopping malls, refreshment centers, the Largest Private University Accommodation in the world, 13000 + CC cameras, indoor transportation system, University Management System, etc.

Hi Sonali, I too am a fellow student of Chandigarh University and from my personal experience as a student, I would suggest you opt for Chandigarh University for the following reasons:
1. Chandigarh University is the youngest university to be accredited with a NAAC A+ grade. It also ranked 16th among the top 25 emerging colleges in India by India Today Magazine. It has a NIRF Ranking of 52 and is ranked 10th among the 50 top private state universities in India by Outlook. Chandigarh University is also ranked no.1 in filing the highest number of patents, by the Government of India.
2. The Engineering Department at Chandigarh University is the best in the state, and offers a wide number of career opportunities to its students. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it prepares the students for the demands and challenges of the industry, and prepares its students to be become skilled professionals and excel in their careers professionally.
3. The placement rate at Chandigarh University is a solid 95%, and many top-notch multinationals come to CU offering job opportunities to its students, companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Wipro, etc. Come to the university offering placements. The highest package offered to CU students was Rs.36 LPA, by Amazon. Many of the students from Chandigarh University have been placed in Google and Microsoft as well.
