I am looking forward to joining M.Sc in biotechnology in IIT. What is the selection process?
Is it only based on rank or is there any interview round as well?

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an admission test to Master of Science (M.Sc.) and other post-graduate science programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Science, and other institutes. The main objective of JAM is to provide admissions to various M.Sc., M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual-degree and other post-graduate programs based on the performance in a single test.
You are advised to appear in JAM to seek admission in M.Sc Biotechnology at IIT.
