I am m.phil mathematics graduate. Whats the job carrier for me except teaching?

Hi, M.Phil. is a special research degree and only awarded by selected departments of a university (mostly in the fields of Arts, Social Sciences, Archaeology, Philosophy and Theology). Admission to this program is pretty selective and primarily aimed at those students opting for an academic career. A mathematician is a person whose primary area of study or research is mathematics. Mathematicians are concerned with particular problems related to logic, space, transformations, numbers and more general ideas which encompass these concepts. They do research, come up with problems and solutions, etc. M.Sc in Mathematics graduates can find lot of opportunities in Research and Development firms, Economic Research firms, Market Research firms and Manufacturing firms. Mathematicians are found in banks and in various offices in our country. They can look for the job profiles like Quantitative Risk Analyst, Statistician, Treasury Management Specialist and Demographer in these firms. They can also find ample opportunities in various government organizations like Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Reputed Software companies offer several career opportunities for these graduates in operation research, software design and programming. Banks and Insurance companies also offer lucrative opportunities for the candidates who have completed their postgraduate degree in Mathematics.
