Hi Swantantra, Although, almost all the good Engineering Institutes like IITs or IISc etc. would require GATE as an eligibility to enter any of the M.Tech programme but if you are not able to give GATE look for some private or state level Institutes which would take their own entrance examination.

it's good if do Mtech. for this purpose u can appeared an entrance exam of ur state university. after that u can able to do mtech. but u won't get any stipend. thnxx.

You will get good colleges only by good GATE score. Another option is look out for industrial sponsorship and respective colleges which accept it.
