I am not happy with the marks I secured in the written exam. Can I opt to write the NDA 2 exam instead of attending the SSB interview?

<p><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:r7:" data-state="closed">It is important to note that if you are not satisfied with the type of marks that you have obtained on the written examination for the NDA (National Defence Academy), you cannot choose to take the NDA 2 examination as opposed to attending the SSB (Service Selection Board) interview. </span><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:r8:" data-state="closed">Just like any other examination held in India, there are certain basic requirements that candidates should fulfill in order to be eligible for writing the NDA exam, and also the mode of examination followed by the SSB interview. </span><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:r9:" data-state="closed">The SSB interview follows the completion of the written part that is often termed as the CBT which is an abbreviation for computer based test and this has marks that are also taken to make a list of candidates who will be interviewed. </span><span aria-haspopup="dialog" aria-expanded="false" aria-controls="radix-:ra:" data-state="closed">However, NDA has two stages and the SSB interview is also a very competitive exam hence, adequate preparation should be made during the NDA exam and a lot of effort should be made during the SSB interview so as to increase the chances of being selected.</span></p>
