I AM NOW IN 1st YEAR IN B.A FROM GEOGRAPHY.CAN I START PREPARING FOR IAS

There's nothing called a right time to start preparation though many IAS bounded aspirants start their preparations during the first or second year of their graduation. The earlier the better. You must frequently update your current affairs. Read national and regional newspapers and competition and current affairs magazines regularly. Coaching assistance may be available from institutes like Rau's IAS, Chanakya, Elite Academy, Brilliant Tutorials etc. also. Read articles appearing in Employment News also. Decide your prelims subjects early and start your preparations. Work out an IAS action plan and prepare yourself. Find oput your hours of peak concentration, be it early morning or night. Adhere to the time schedules based on your action plan. Review your plan as and when a need is felt to modify your time allotment for preparations. Dear Aman, Yes you can start your preparation from now but you can appear only after completing your graduation.
