I am opting for bank PO after completing this course. Is it a good choice for a bright future and is it better than B.Tech?

You have not mentioned which stream are you comparing with Engineering with respect to PO. Probationary Officer job in banks is very prestigious job equivalent to IAS or IPS etc. Chairmen and board members of all Public Sector Banks raise from the rank of PO only. It is an excellent career option.
