I am passionate about automobiles. Which engineering is better between mechanical and automobile in terms of salary prospects?

  • Hello Brijesh,
    Mechanical engineering is the base of all branches like aeronautical, aerospace and automobile engineering. You can also do a B.Tech in automobile, but it is a specialised stream which has lesser prospects when compared to mechanical as a whole. So, the better option would be to choose mechanical engineering in your B.Tech and do a post graduate degree (ME/M.Tech) in automobile.
