I am planning to do Masters in material science in UK. is this a right decision ?

I am planning to do Masters in material science in UK. is this a right decision ? At present I am pursuing BE-Mechanical engineering (final year). My overall GPA will be 7.6. if my decision is correct , please prefer some good colleges in UK. Is UK a better destination for Masters?
