I am preparing for bank PO exams. Can I give CAT exam?

Since the difficulty level of CAT is higher than that of bank PO, do I need to prepare for it?

Yes, you can appear for CAT exam. Most of the topics for CAT and Bank PO exams are same. You need to study some extra topics for CAT exam, and CAT is tough than Bank PO exam.

If you prepare for CAT exam, you will be able to qualify Bank PO examination without much extra effort. You may or may not score good percentile in CAT exam with the preparation of Bank PO exam.

IIM Calcutta has only mentioned accepting GMAT score for admission into EMBA courses.

However, CAT is commonly accepted by other similar institutes for both MBA and MBAEx courses. Thus, candidates are advised to ask admission desk for confirmation on this question.
