Hello Ashwini, going to a coaching institute for getting selected is actually a myth. What matters most is the dedication and perseverance of the student. If you are doing study at home on your own just do not worry. You have good chances of making it. What you should do is get to know the syllabus

Hi, there are plenty of books available. Unfortunately, as counsellor on Shiksha, I can not rec a specific book. Its against policy. But I am sure, downloaded previous question papers will give you enough hints. Best wishes.
