i am preparing for GRE subjective in psychology.. should i write both the GRE main test and GRE subjective test??

It depends upon where you would like to do your Masters Programme. For most of the courses the General GRE test is more than enough. However, certain highly specialized programmes would ask the candidates to take the Subject GRE as well.
