I am preparing for the CAT.I have heared that strong academics is more important to get admission in the IIM rather than the percentile.

Strong academics gives the pannel an indication of your consistancy ...It does not indicates about your smartness... But some of the IIM purely follow the academics and believe that this is the best method.....I think you should keep your plan B alway ready ...life is always asking for exploration..
