I am pursuing 12+2 in BBM and want to study MBA in Canada after completing BBM. Is it compulsory to have a work experience?

No, it is not compulsory to have experience. However, you need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no band less than 6 and it is preferable, if you do your GMAT.

If you are applying for colleges in Canada through GMAT, work experience is mandatory. You cannot give GMAT without any work experience.
