MBA is more of a general program whereas MSW (Masters in Social Welfare) is a specialized program. MSW is opted by students who want to make their career with an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) . MBA involves elements of economics as well and is the most preferred course these days. But Social Work is not a bad option at all.

You can go for MBA as it will add managerial skills to your profile, and imbibe management qualities. Also there are lots of job opportunities for management graduates. MSW is also a good option, but I am doubtful about the career options it offers. So, if you are interested in that, you can take it
