I am pursuing Electrical Engineering in an IIT (3rd Year) and would want to know about internship opportunities in Universities in USA?

I wanted to do a mandatory internship required after 6th sem of IIT course in a reputed university in USA in Electrical Engineering. What are the opportunities? Also I require funding from them.
