I am pursuing electronics and communication engineering but have interest in astrophysics. Will I be able to study astrophysics after this?

You can do studies in Astrophysics after ECE engineering. Indian Institute of Astrophysics(IIA) runs integrated M.Sc-Ph.D Programme in Physics and Astrophysics in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. IIA conducts the Integrated M.Tech- Ph.D (Tech.) programme
