I am pursuing FMRM 4m FDDI,noida. But I'm thinking of giving NIFT exam this year. I would waste an year but is it worth wasting an year?

I got 149 rank in ffdi last yr but couldn't get a good rank in NIFT exam. now i am pursuing Fashion merchandising and reatail mgt. from FDDI,noida FDDI has a good market reputation? do good companies come for recruiting children from FDDI noida? what's about the salary packages?
