    Hi Harshada,
After completing your Masters with minimum 55%, you need to qualify a test such as GATE/CSIR-NET/ JEST and TIFR /NEST /SLET etc. If you qualify written, then you'll be called for interview. In some university, you'll be required to undergo their separate written test and interview. Ph.D is offered in two modes: Part Time and Full Time
Part Time: A candidate has to attend classes on weekends. Full Time: A candidate has to attend regular classes (56 days a week). I am enlisting a few good colleges which are doing really well in this field of research. You can do it from: Delhi University, University of Hyderabad, Jadavpur Uni

    Hi Harshada,
The eligibility criteria for Ph.D varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a Masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two research publications for the Ph.D programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years.
So if you wish to pursue Phd, for that you need to first completed your graduation , then post graduation and then you are eligible for pursuing Phd.
I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
    Wish you luck.
