I am reading in 11th standard. Which courses for video game designing should I take after 12th?

Should I take courses in animation? I live in Odisha, Bhubaneswar, please sugest me some institute.

    I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. You could also study composition by reading "Composing Pictures" by Don Graham. Later on you may take up a Degree (multimedia and animation). Arena also offers such a Degree. To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as preproduction

    *** Game designing is increasingly been seen as a serious career option.
    There are many courses in game designing. The general eligibility is plus two. There is no requirement of minimum marks. The only requirement is that the school or board should be recognized by the government. But some gaming institutes also take graduates from any discipline. This will vary from institution to institution. But there is no set criterion for admission into game designing courses.
