I am studying Diploma in instrumentation engineering, can I give JEE exam?

If you go to JEE notice, there is a specific year of a gap after 12th standard after which you can't take JEE exam. Also, there is a maximum number of attempts. So it depends on how many times you have taken JEE, how many years since you finished your 12th class and also you're age.

Polytechnic / Engineering Diploma holder candidates needs to upload Class XII result information on the official website of JEE Mains.
Candidates who have completed Engineering/Architecture / Pharmacy diploma programs from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-approved institute with at least 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for reserved category candidates) are eligible for admission to the second year of four-year degree programme of Engineering/Pharmacy and five-year Architecture programs through Lateral Entry notified AICTE.
These candidates need not appear for any entrance examination.
