i am studying in class 12 n have opted maths i want to know what are the various routes for me ahead,as my aim is to become an IAS?

    Hi Astha, India holds UPSC examination every year. The candidates appearing for IAS exam should be within 21 to 30 years of age. Also the candidate should have a bachelor's degree in subjects mentioned by UPSC. The candidates can attempt for this exam four times. There will be two exams - the preliminary and the main exam. The candidates qualifying these will be called for personal interview. The syllabus for this exam will be as per the UPSC norms. The two exams conducted will be very tough. The candidates are interviewed crucially at the final interview to filter out the best from a number of candidates.

    Frankly speaking there is no specific stream or route which you can take up to appear for IAS Examination as the students of all the streams are allowed to take up IAS Examination.     To become an IAS Officer You have to Complete Your Graduation First and Then You have to Appear for UPSC Civil services examinations. For details of the Examination pattern Pls.
