For securing a good rank all the chapters are important. However, you need to focus more on coordinate geometry, modern physics, optics, etc.

That is really great that you are preparing for it. You need to focus on every chapter, as you want good rank. So, focus on each and every chapter that will help you to score well in exam.

Now, you are still in class 11th and there is no need to leave chapters and proceed. You have to complete each and every chapter, and you should aim to complete every chapter with perfection. If you leave any chapter and think that the other chapter or other portion of the syllabus has more weightage, then I think you have lost the battle. So, prepare all chapters, because in the end I mean after your boards, you would wish that you could have done these chapters earlier.

Hello Sateesh, Firstly, remove from your mind that you can crack both these exams by leaving out done portions from study. But then, there are many models to pass an exam and what you suggest is surely one of the model. But then it's up to you. Or, you can leave out 10% if what you find most difficult? Best wishes.
