I am studying in the 1st year of BBA at KIIT and want to take lateral entry at Aligarh Muslim University. Is it possible?

<p>Lateral entry is unlikely for a candidate to get from KIIT to AMU to pursue a BBA course. Usually, admission to BBA courses offered by AMU is open to those candidates only who have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or any other equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Commerce, Arts, Science, or Social Science.</p><p>AMU doesn't offer a lateral entry process for its BBA program, and students from any other university cannot take admission in its second year of study. Any admission is totally based on their performance through an entrance conducted by the respective university.</p><p>While many universities like LPU allow such lateral entry procedures in their individual BBA courses, AMU does not facilitate such transferable provision in BBA courses.</p><p>If you'd like to transfer to AMU, then most probably you will be required to apply as a fresh applicant, and you will have to start your first-year BBA, again provided that you satisfy eligibility criteria and clear the entrance examination. For specific advice according to your need, it's always best to get in touch directly with the admissions of AMU.</p>
