I am studying MBA-pt, a good school in delhi. I now have interest in Eco. Should I go ahead with it?

I am studying part time MBA from a good school in delhi and working at the same time. I have developed an interest in economics. Although I have no specific background in eco, I am now thinking to pursue MA Eco. Would it be a good choice?
