i am thinking about human resource development or public relations as my career option.but i don't know anything about it. pls help me!!

i don't know what subjects should i have for getting a career in H.R.D .Nor am i aware what qualities should i have to become successful in this field? What books should i refer? which college is good? and what exams are there for this feild..!!

    well HRM basically deals with the selection and recruitment, training and development, appraisals, succession planning etc which are meant to keep the work-force healthy and working smoothly towards objectives. Best colleges(tests) in this field are IIMs(CAT), XLRI(XAT), MDI(CAT), SCMHRD(SNAP), TISS, NMIMS etc.
