    No, with Arts / Humanities subject at aschool level you might not be able to go for conventional courses in the IT sector. If you are targeting IT field then I suggest you opt for PCM group of subjects. If that does not click in a very favorable manner in XIi th standard then you may opt for Humanities subjects in the college. In that case the option of later going for IT would remain open.

    Hi,
    Science background is preferable for CS/IT aspirants.
    Ideal options-
    B.E/B.TECH
    B.SC CS/IT
    B.C.A
    Even if you are from Arts or Commerce but Maths as a subject, then also you can opt for B.C.A. or B.A (CA).
