I am totally confused about my career. What is the scope in ethical hacking?

    Scope of ethical hacking:
    Startups don't want a security guy, they want a developer (security is a complementary skills for them) and freshers have very little chance in MNC. Also, there are less security focused company in India, so most of the guys either open their training classes, do workshops in colleges or join somewhere as instructor.
    If you want to join security team of Facebook or Google, you must go through the same interview process a developer face. You must have knowledge of C+, algorithms, couple of other programming language and of course security.

    Hi Aakash
    Ethical hacking has a good scope in IT security and SMEs and MNCs both recruit Ethical certified professional but EH is not designed for someone who is fresher or less experienced. EH goes well with experienced security professionals or you would like to settle your career in IT Security domain in future.
    If someone has got experienced with Security Audit and Infrastructure domain then ethical hacking will add additional advantage. EC council provides certification on EH but it's hard and expensive.
