Yes, you can opt for either mechanical engineering or civil engineering. Both the branches are good for you, and have good scope.

You need to have a strong grip on mechanics and mathematics for both the branches. Both are equally good branches. It's entirely your decision and interest in which field you want to pursue your interests. Mechanical is about automobiles, machineries whereas civil is about construction. You better decide which interests you more. All the best.

Both are good. If you are interested in drawing, you can take civil. Otherwise, mechanical is a better option.
    All the best.

Both are good but the only thing is electronics is compulsory. Civil engineering is good for you, whereas, mechanical engineering is a lot more creative.

Mechanical engineering is better because there is more competition in civil.

Mechanical engineering is the best core branch among all engineering branches for government jobs as well as research.

Good potential in physics and maths can help an electrical engineer the most. There are lot of portions where pure physics is applied. If you are good in these two subjects, you are half way done in engineering.
    All the best.

You want to choose physics because mathematics is based on electronics.
