I am very much interested to join a VFX course,but I am completely zero at drawing.Will that be a minus point ?

No, not at all, if you have time to invest , try for some long term course ,that will cover all the domains in pipeline , starting from sketching till the post production and visual effects . It will definitely have a lot of advantage if you know drawing though its not mandatory.
