I am want to give UPSC and planning to pursue engineering as a safe option for graduation but I am still confused please suggest me.

Passed Out 10th in 2018 and now in 12th Science stream and planning to give JEE Mains in 2020. I scored 92.4% in 10th.

    It depends on your interest. If you are interested in engineering then it is a safe option for your future other wise degree doesn't matter in UPSC.

    It is purely of your interest. You can choose a course in arts and sciences which matches with list of optional subjects and prepare simultaneously for UPSC exams, because this will give you long hours of study. Else, you can choose engineering and then sit extensively minimum for a year and then appear for exam. If your family can support you for a year even after 4 years of engineering then you can go by that.
