I am working as a clerk in government sector. Will it be counted as experience or not if I want to pursue MBA?

For private sector, if you want to go for MBA, it hardly matters because what matters the most incorporates is soft skills you have and attitude and overall I must say somehow it adds value to your resume if somewhat in government sector.
