Certainly, it would be a good option to go for. My suggestion would be that if you are currently working with the textile related organisation and haven't resigned or given up on it, and you are planning to further pursue yourselves in the field of textile industry, it would be really beneficial for you to take up your MBA plans in textile department itself. Also, if your organisation has an "educational extension benefit" offered to you, I would advise to go avail that and join a distance learning programme while you continue with your job, this helps building a trust of the organisation you are working for in both your commitment to the organisation as well as your skillSet. But it is not always necessary that you chose the distance learning option, you may move out temporarily and join your course and plan your comeback with the same or a different organisation at a higher designation and package.
