I am working in areputed IT firm for the past one year.Can you please tell me what is the scope of an Engineer in actuarial science? How is the syllabus different from that of an Engineering stream? How much time in terms of years would a working engineer take in order to complete the course?

Acturial Science is for Insurance Sector. It is as tough as CA course. Job and career will be excellent after completion. Syllabus includes Maths, Accounts, Management papers and very different than Engineering. www.actuariesindia.org is the official website. Dr. Mishra
