Hi, UPSC conducts civil services examination every year in the month of May and June and its main exam in the month of December. The notification for this exam comes out in the month of January end.

You need to be a graduate for appearing in UPSC exam. So better focus on your engg. studies as of now and start preparing for UPSC when you complete mech engg.
