Yes, you are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. Age: Students should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. Five years of age relaxation is given to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and PwD students, that is, these students should have been born on or after October 1, 1993. The number of JEE Advanced attempts: A student can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. Appearance year of Class 12 qualifying exam: A student should have appeared for the Class 12 examination for the first time in either 2022 or 2023 with PCM as a compulsory subject. Students who had appeared in the Class 12th examination for the first time in 2021 or earlier, are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2023, irrespective of the combination of subjects attempted or offered. By appearance in the Class 12th examination, it is meant that the Board concerned declared the result for that year irrespective of whether or not the examination was conducted. It will be considered as an appearance even if the result of a particular candidate got withheld. However, if the examination Board of Class 12th declared the results for the academic year 2020-21 on or after October 25, 2021, then the students of that Board who appeared for their Class 12th examination in 2021 are also eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2023, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria. In case the examination Board of Class 12th declared the results for the academic year 2020-21 before October 25, 2021, but the result of a particular student was withheld, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2023.
