Hi,
Kindly predict your college in this college predictor. JEE Mains rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidate’s rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Main and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs and other SFTIs. The rank predicted might not be accurate but it certainly does give an idea to the aspirant. Know your college admission chances based on your JEE Mains rank, home state, caste, gender, etc. here:

There is nothing wrong and you can apply through the general category also. Now you have to focus on general category as filled in registration form, Participate in JoSAA counselling process through general category. It is my experience that closing ranks of general category are going too much higher in comparison to reserved categories. So this will be beneficial for you. One thing you must be note here that you will not claim or disclose your category at any moments during the course of admission and study for any type of benefits.

Hi PRANAVKUMAR,
As your CRL ranking is 166000. As you have mentioned the category as general in the application, but you are from OBC category, so it will be difficult now to change it. Although I will suggest you to write a mail to the concerned authorities mentioning all your details. They might revert back to you. They can only provide alternatives for you, if it is anyhow possible.
