Eligibility Criteria
UG: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Independent entrance tests for this programme are also held by the various state, central, and private universities which mostly require 50% as the prerequisite to appear for the test. Food technology is taught in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in colleges of India. The basic academic qualification required for admission to the undergraduate courses of study in food technology is successful completion of 10+2 school board examinations with Science as your chosen stream of study. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology must be compulsory subjects at the school level. For admission to the postgraduate programs in food technology, you must have a graduation degree in food technology.
