I aspire to become a Food Technologist. Can I be one?

Hi, Eligibility Criteria UG: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Independent entrance tests for this programme are also held by the various state, central, and private universities which mostly require 50% as the prerequisite to appear for the test. Hi Harshita, Food technology is taught in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in colleges of India. The basic academic qualification required for admission to the undergraduate courses of study in food technology is successful completion of 10+2 school board examinations with Science as your chosen stream of study. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology must be compulsory subjects at the school level. For admission to the postgraduate programs in food technology, you must have a graduation degree in food technology. List of Entrance Tests for Admission to Food Technology Colleges: - GATE Entrance Examination for admission to Food Technology courses - CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute entrance examination) for admission to the M.Sc course in food technology in CFTRI, Mysore - AIJEE (All India Joint Entrance Examination) for admission to the B.Tech course of study in food technology. The state level JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) will also get you admission to the course. - IICPT (Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology entrance examination) for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech courses of study in food process engineering.
