I complete B.Tech in CS and now I want to go in Networking. But I heard a lot that Networking is not for girls (i am a girl), is it true ??

Also I want to know, What I should do in order to become a Network Engineer ?? Also please tell me what cource/ qualification/ certification in Networking needed in order to get higher salary package of atleast 3.5 to 4 Lacs/ per annum...
