I completed 12th in science stream. I have an interest in mech engg but i don't have a good base in maths. So is engg recommended for me?

If i take engg can i succeed in it without any supplements. I'm not interested in Bcom or any basic science degree courses. I'm interested in technical stuffs, designing etc. which is there in engg ? Is there any other course other than engg which satisfy my interests ?
