I completed BE ECE and working in MNC.I like to explore my career in Finance.I have joined ICWA inter. Am I selected the right path?

I got 7.9 in BE ECE and working in IT sector as a developer.I am interested in exploring my career in Finance. I have joined for ICWA inter coz I dont want to leave my job now.I like to move to management job especially in Finance sector or Banking sector. Please advice me since I am new to Finance.
