I completed Diploma in 1990. Are there any restrictions if I want to admit to lateral entry B.Tech now?
Someone from HRD told me that a gap must within 15-years which for me is a bit on the higher side & lateral entry B.Tech should not be an option for me. Only regular B.Tech is possible for me. Are there any new rules amended by India on the same?

Generally, there are no restrictions at all but it depends on a particular college or it depends on you only that what you have done after completing the job. If you were working after that, it means you have a work experience so the college will not get affected by it. But you can't get lateral ent

I have taken admission in Osmania University in 2013. But when the time comes to deliver the certificate of final year, they noticed me that lateral entry B.Tech is not possible due to my educational gap more than 17 years. And this rules effected from last September 2017. Is it true? Or these rules
