I completed my 12th and looking for a University in Germany for chemical engineering. Is German language a mandatory need?

Hi,
For undergraduate programs, you will need German language proficiency but check the language of instruction on university websites. At least A2 level is required for most UG programs. You can also check this if it helps for your German language training:
