Mostly good scholars are initially not interested in teaching and it's good to do so. After Masters one must get into PRACTICAL APPLICATION of knowledge. M.Com not only makes you eligible to work as a P.G.T (Commerce/Accountancy/Business Studies) where you can expect nearly Rs. 38000/- starting salary even in moderately Good institutions with free accomodations and other perks. This eligibility will always be there with you till you don't get tired of doing clerical job holding swanky designations like ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE, FINANCIAL OFFICER, ACCOUNTS MANAGER, ACCOUNTS OFFICER WITH JUNIOR , ASSISTANT , DEPUTY OR SENIOR TERMS AS PREFIX/SU...more

You can look at career opportunities into Accounting and the growth would be really slow. You can look at doing M.com with CIMA which will give you a head start to your career in any of the fortune 500 companies. All the best!
