I completed my btech in cse this year and want to switch to game art. Should i ? regarding payscale and future compared to engg.
Im mainly concerned about leaving my engg, it would be a waste if i start game design and it doesnt pay me enough. Im already 24 years and dont want to waste any more years.

Rahul, I am not sure if you're already working after CS or you're still studying CS or have just completed. Anyway, if you're clear that you dont want to pursue CS then without vacillating too much go the path you're wanting too. You can always return back in 2-3 years if you don't like it in gaming

Gaming is a highly exciting, youthful & rewarding career. It needs lot of passion, patience and Creativity to become Game Designer. Ensure that you possess it. Gaming is still in its nascent stage in India. Till date there are very few appropriate programs available for Game Art Design.
